Eduardo Amar is a curator graduated from OCAD University in 2018. He has held positions such as Outreach Worker, Program Coordinator - Community Without Borders Project at Centre for Spanish Speaking Peoples, and Program Coordinator, Facilitators at TLO - Trans Latinas Ontario.
OPPORTUNITY DESCRIPTION
Sur Gallery is excited to welcome Eduardo Amar to join the gallery as the part-time and the CEAD are seeking for a part-time Gallery Coordinator. Eduardo will be responsible for the reception of the gallery, membership, outreach, responding to service requests and will assist with installation duties for the gallery.
Sur Gallery is Toronto's first gallery space dedicated to the implementation of art projects, which showcase and promote contemporary Latin American artistic practices. Initiatives are aimed to socially innovate, critically engage, lending itself to opportunities of national relevance in order to begin to develop global networks of exchange. Sur Gallery is a project of LACAP.
The position is supported by the Career Launchers program from OCAD University's Centre for Emerging Artists & Designers.
