The Centre for Emerging Artists and Designers is excited to offer announce the 2nd annual Artscape Youngplace Career Launcher for 4th year Photography students. This years Career Launcher offers students the opportunity to participate in a 1 week exhibition in the Hallway Galleries of Artscape Youngplace.

The curatorial team at Artscape will work with faculty and the CEAD team to transform the 2nd and 3rd floors into a showcase of contemporary photography practices. As part of the Career Launcher the curatorial advisory committee at Youngplace will select an artist from the exhibition for a solo show of new work in the fall of 2015!

Finalists: Alexandra Votsis, Lindsay Nemeth, Tanya Robinson, Christopher Garland, Carly Whitmore, Emma Blackshaw, Petar Boskovic, Allison Morris, Sarah Azzam, Rachel Bromberg, Katelyn Gallucci, and Gabby Frank.

Allison Morris has been selected as the winner of the Artscape Youngplace Career Launcher! Allison's solo show, Impersonations, will be held at Artscape Youngplace from November 30 - January 3rd. The opening reception is on December 3rd, from 6-9pm.
