2025 VIBE Arts

Program Assistant

Details

OPPORTUNITY DESCRIPTION

VIBE Arts operates at the intersection of arts and belonging. We know that not everyone has access to the arts; this is felt especially by people who live outside of the urban core. Members of equity-seeking groups including newcomer Canadians, racialized young people, Indigenous youth, the LGBTQ+ community and individuals living in poverty face complex barriers. VIBE works directly within these communities to involve thousands of people each year in free arts experiences. We bring young people together to collaborate in safe and accessible spaces and tap into the creative potential that lies in every corner of our province. VIBE programs develop life-long skills, nurture community connections and spark creativity. Together, we work to realize a future where every young person is equipped to contribute creatively to society.

OCAD University’s RBC Centre for Emerging Artists & Designers is excited to announce a recruited placement in partnership with VIBE Arts for the role of Program Assistant. The Program Assistant will join the VIBE team to support their programming efforts, communications, and general administration under the direction of the Community Programs Manager. This role will help support and facilitate tailor-made, multi-disciplinary arts education programs in various communities across Toronto. The role will be a combination of remote and in-person work at the VIBE office (401 Richmond St. W., Toronto). VIBE Arts supports that we all have different paths and that passion is a great driver in community work. Please consider applying, even if you aren’t able to check every box above. Equivalent experience will be considered. VIBE Arts values diversity, is committed to providing an inclusive workplace for all and especially encourages members of underrepresented groups to apply.
